LEAD PASTORS

BJ and Rinkim Shockey

BJ felt a call to ministry at a very young age. After completing a ministry internship in Brooklyn, NY, he has served as Outreach Director and Children’s Pastor for several churches. Rinkim also answered God’s call and, after college, served children and youth in her hometown in India. They married in 2013 with the intention of serving God together.

BJ and Rinkim began attending Emmanuel Assembly in 2016. After BJ completed Bible School, they decided to restructure their lives in order to prepare themselves for “whatever ministry opportunity God would bring,” giving God a “Yes” in advance of any doors that He would open. Today they serve as the pastors of Emmanuel Assembly.

YOUTH DIRECTOR

Corey and Skylar White

After a career in the military, Corey moved to Tennessee in 2015. Corey has long felt a call to ministry and has served in several churches on their production teams. Skylar is a Knoxville native who has always had a passion for worship and praise and has served on multiple worship teams. Corey and Skylar married in 2020. Corey and Skylar began attending Emmanuel AG in the fall of 2022 and very quickly felt at home. Since then they have taken on the call to be the student ministry leaders. Their desire is for all of their students to have an authentic relationship with the Lord and to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

MISSIONS DIRECTOR

Patrick and Pedrina Elliott

A native of Knoxville, Patrick met his wife Pedrina while serving as a missionary in Brazil, where Pedrina was working in evangelism and children's ministry with her church. They married, and over the next twelve years, they oversaw the building of 102 churches in Brazil. Returning to Knoxville with his wife and two wonderful children, Patrick currently serves along with Pedrina as the Missions Directors at Emmanuel Assembly.
